Sittable Lids

A sittable lid is one of the most overlooked features on a bidet seat. Many customers are so used to standard toilet seats with lids you can sit on that they assume bidet seats work the same way.

They usually don't. While some bidet seats offer lids that can take weight, they are far less common than expected, because the hardware and electronics sit in the back of the seat. Allowing the lid to withstand additional weight while protecting the working parts is more involved than it sounds.
