Does the TOTO G5A Smart Bidet Toilet MS7631CEMFG#01 have a built-in tank or does it need to be hooked up directly to the water supply line? Do you carry Toto bidet toilets with integrated tanks? Last, can you explain the advantages and disadvantages of a tankless versus built-in tank toilet?

How do you activate the automatic flush on the G5A Lite?
On the TOTO G5A, automatic flushing is set from the remote: once Auto Flush is enabled, the toilet flushes on its own a few seconds after you stand up. Open the remote's settings menu and turn Auto Flush on (it's enabled by default on most units). If it isn't flushing automatically, make sure the unit has power and that the seat sensor registered you sitting, since auto-flush only triggers after a completed sitting cycle. The manual is a great resource or call TOTO at 888-295-8134.

Does it need to be connected to An electrical outlet?
Yes! The TOTO G5A Smart Toilet does require a standard 120V / 60Hz GFCI electrical outlet to power all of its features (bidet functions, heated seat, air dryer, etc.). The power cord exits from the right rear of the unit, so you'll need a GFCI outlet on the right side of the toilet within approximately 4 feet. If there's no outlet near your toilet, you'll need a licensed electrician to install one before installation.
