WaterSense Rebates: An Incentive for Conservation

WaterSense, a voluntary partnership program sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), is both a label for water-efficient products and a resource for helping you save water.

By replacing old, inefficient toilets with WaterSense labeled models, the average family can reduce water used for toilets by 20 to 60 percent—that's nearly 13,000 gallons of water savings for your home every year (about $140) …and the government may help pay for it as well in the form of Rebates (click for more info about rebates).  The savings from your water bill, sewer bill, septic system, taxes, etc. will pay for the upgrade in no time with an estimated savings of $2,900 over the lifetime of the toilet.
